In recent months we were discussing WindPad 100w and WindPad 110w both from MSI. MSI new WindPad 120W is very similar to MSI WindPad 110W with the difference of Intel’s dual-core 1.86GHz (32nm) Cedar Trail Atom N2800 processor processor instead of AMD Fusion as had been seen in previous models. Intel has designed this Cedar Trail chip to power netbooks, but it seems to perform better than AMD chip. Intel is heavily focused on Apple these days as well as tablets and smartphone devices with their new 22nm technology. Cedar Trail provides all of WiDi, wireless audio, Fast Flash Standby and integrated 3G.

New WindPad 120W has a plastic frame around bezel offering protection as well as vents for cooling down the tablet and spaces for ports such as SIM card slot, SDHC card reader, volume rocker, rotation lock, headphone, USB and HDMI. WindPad 120W has an awesome audio with SRS Surround Sound.

When it comes to the All-in-ones, there is no other brand that could pull of a brilliant update than Apple. Now, let us enjoy a few moments to see the new internal update of its aging albeit robust chassis. The new update on the iMac was done recently and the aim of this new update is of course, to be faster. The specs are naturally designed to be the speediest but with some proper allocation of updates, they can be properly quick. This was made for family use, with a sleek design, fast internals and quintessential appeal. At the price starting at US$1,199, the question to be answered is if it is good enough for the price?

At Computex 2011 we see two Intel designed new netbooks made by Malata. They are both Canoe Lake Malata prototypes.

One of these Canoe Lake netbooks is a standard 10.1-inch netbook with either Atom N2600 or N2800 processor. It’s refered to as Canoe Lake 10″

Second netbook is Windows 7 convertible with 11.6-inch screen touch screen. Reference model is PC-B1101.

This gossip was kicked off by Piper Jaffray who said that Intel might be cooking up something for Apple. Reports reveal that Intel might be fabricating new chipsets for new iPad models. This news comes after Intel disclosed that it will be making the most significant announcement for the industry this year. This was disclosed in a press release done last Wednesday. Experts say that this will include the 22-nanometer fabrication method as well as new chipsets for iOS products. What is 22nm technology? Transistors are for the most part spaced out about 40 nanometers away from one another. Placing them closer to distance of about 22nm will result in more energy efficient chips. Intel has this technology in place already.

You can also use iPad for business and it comes with apps to further expand its functionality. These simple things, tasks and related stuff that you can do on a tablet really helped in redefining the use of the tablet. They are the new cool devices. However, technologies like these do have some limitations and these limitations make the tablets still a league of their own, making them only functional in a light that is different from laptop.
