The first “American” perspective you will read below is from the parts of our country that are trying to turn back the equality progress we have made in Oregon. The second “American” perspective you will read about is the most likely from the wave of a newer generation, one that is ready for change an openness and less bound by archaic interpretations of cultural traditions and dictates. The differences between these two perspectives on same-sex relationships are quite extreme. I wonder, which would most citizens in Oregon espouse? I guess we will find out by July 3, 08 when we see if they gathered enough signatures. (Note: the mention of this “homosexual agenda” again. It is amazing that those folks actually ascribe a whole “agenda” to our desire to live and love with our families like they claim the “inalienable right” to).
