It used to be that buying an iPod nano instead of a full-size iPod meant more than giving up storage capacity to get a smaller player; you also sacrificed features, such as video playback and output, better games, and audio recording. Apple added recording abilities to the second-generation nano (), but with the latest version introduced September 5, the company went whole hog, bringing every major full-size feature to the smaller, flash-based player nano.
